Piracy surge from Hulu delay.

Torrent Freak stated today that the statistics are staggering for piracy since Fox decided to pull the focus of their programming to live events.


Fox began delaying new content from being released online to 8 days. This has fans outraged. Torrent Freak state the following:

One of the main motivations for people to download and stream TV-shows from unauthorized sources is availability. If fans can’t get a show through legal channels they turn to pirated alternatives.

I'll say it again: if you can't beat piracy, you might as well join them. Or at least attempt to fit into a modern model of streaming content. People want their content quickly and whenever they can get it. Look what happened to Blockbuster.
