Good point - I personally have been using Dropbox for about a year now and could not be more satisfied with the program. I think, unfortunately, being an invention of Apple, I have predetermined bias over the effectiveness of the application with efficiency in mind.
Dropbox has a plethora of features that iCloud simply doesn't have. For example: in Dropbox, the ability to rewind to previous versions when working in groups or teams so others can see changes made to the document by specific user type.
The documents feature of iCloud I will definitely be staying away from...
