IGN is reporting that Nvidia new 3D vision 2 system has lightweight 3D glasses, brighter visuals, and smoother picture.
Additionally, NVIDIA has developed LightBoost, a new standard which provides brighter image quality, smoother motion and more extensive detail. LightBoost-compatible monitors reduce the natural darkening created by 3D systems, which can degrade image quality.
However, this new technology will only be available only compatible monitors and Asus currently is the only manufacturer that will display the new features in any kind of optimal way. BenQ is also looking into manufacturing this line of compatible monitors.
The new system will have an MSRP of US$149.
