iPhone 5 rumored Summer 2012 release.

You'd think the Apple Fanboys would be content. At least for a while with the recent 4S release.

However, many were disappointed with that the iPhone 4S didn't have all those brand new features we'll probably see with the iPhone 5 such as a bigger screen. BGR is reporting that the iPhone will be release in the summer of 2012 which is completely believable because of the minute changes to the 4S. Apple has kept most of their big developments for the 5 while attempting to maximize profit for the release of the 4S - which has worked very very well thus far.

Another major reason the 5 wasn't released this time around the Steve Job's role in the new design. Apparently he was very involved an when he became ill, Apple decided to implement an interim solution until Steve could get better. Obviously this didn't happen. An article posted by Techie Apps explains that the next iPhone will be the last with Steve's innovation involved and many will expect great things because of it.

Don't be surprised if this iPhone is advertised using just that "legacy". They will say it was Steve's last gift to the world. I also think this may be the last innovative iPhone for some time partly because Steve Jobs was a slave driver and he inspired people.

Only time will tell. Sorry for the folks who got the 4S as it will be "new" less than a year. But then again, it's Apple - what did you expect?
